Dr. Casulo on Predicting Outcomes in Follicular Lymphoma

Carla Casulo, MD, associate professor, Department of Medicine, University of Rochester Medical Center, discusses several different factors that can help predict outcomes in patients with follicular lymphoma.

At the time of diagnosis, the Follicular Lymphoma International Prognostic Index (FLIPI) and FLIPI2 scores can assist physicians in predicting response to therapy. In addition, epigenetic markers can be combined with clinical factors to predict whether patients will have worse or better outcomes; this is called the M7FLIPI.
