Unger, MD, director, Gastrointestinal Cancer Service, Department of Radiation Medicine, director of the residency training program, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and associate professor of radiation medicine, Georgetown University School of Medicine, discusses utilizing a multidisciplinary team to treat patients with gastroesophageal cancer.

Tumor boards at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital consist of interventional gastroenterologists, surgeons, imaging specialists, pathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists.
