Biomarkers remain to be a pressing unmet need for patients with kidney cancer because without them it is difficult to stratify risks, explains Uzzo.
It is also important to be aware that there are trade-offs with kidney cancer management. Active surveillance may also begin to play a role in this treatment landscape, states Uzzo.
