OncLive® and Stephenson Cancer Center, the only comprehensive academic cancer center in Oklahoma, have become partners in raising the standard of cancer care through OncLive's Strategic Alliance Partnership program, OncLive announced.
PLAINSBORO, N.J. — January 12, 2015 – OncLive® and Stephenson Cancer Center, the only comprehensive academic cancer center in Oklahoma, have become partners in raising the standard of cancer care through OncLive’s Strategic Alliance Partnership program, OncLive announced today.
Through the Strategic Alliance Partnership program, the OncLive editorial and marketing teams will work with Stephenson Cancer Center to raise awareness of Stephenson’s innovative approach to cancer research, care and educational efforts.
The Stephenson Cancer Center promotes cutting-edge cancer research in a patient-centered environment, while also advancing educational efforts on campus and in its communities. Research is an integral part of developing new therapies and improving cancer treatment. Combining the best practices in patient care and the latest in research and technology, each Stephenson patient receives a unique treatment plan with the support team of multi-disciplinary specialist to help them navigate through treatment and recovery.
Under the guidance of Robert Mannel, M.D., Director, the mission of the Stephenson is to improve and extend the lives of cancer patients through providing patient-centered, comprehensive care, conducting innovative basic, translational, and clinical research, raising the level of cancer awareness and prevention, educating the next generation of cancer health care professionals, and serving as a statewide resource for patients, researchers, health professionals, and communities.
