FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

World-class cancer research and treatment center is the latest to partner with OncLive to promote its research, events, and initiatives

OncLive is pleased to announce that the Cancer Therapy & Research Center (CTRC) at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio has joined its Strategic Alliance Partnership program.

The Strategic Alliance Partnership program enables institutions to increase their reach and visibility throughout the national cancer care community by leveraging OncLive's robust digital and print channels to spotlight the innovative research and clinical trials, educational and community outreach programs, and patient-centered care conducted at each institution.

The CTRC is one of the elite academic cancer centers in the country named a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Designated Cancer Center, and is one of only four in Texas. A leader in developing new drugs to treat cancer, the CTRC Institute for Drug Development conducts one of the largest oncology Phase I clinical drug programs in the world, and participates in development of cancer drugs approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

"The CTRC's mission of conquering cancer through research, prevention, and treatment makes them a natural partner for OncLive, where our goal is to provide clinicians and researchers with news, information, and education that will help them keep pace with the latest developments in the field and improve the quality of care," said Jack Lepping, president of the oncology division of Intellisphere, the publisher of OncLive. "We look forward to collaborating with the CTRC faculty to promote the Institute for Drug Development and other initiatives at this world-class institution."

This year, 17 cancer centers and nursing schools have joined OncLive's Strategic Alliance Partnership program.
